PAY RANGE
$30.00 - $32.00
Core Responsibilities Inventory Management:
Oversee the receipt, systematic tagging, and secure storage of refinery parts, piping, valves, and hazardous chemicals. Conduct routine and cyclical physical inventory counts to ensure they match system data.
Shipping & Receiving:
Verify delivery manifests, inspect goods for damage or shortages, and process paperwork.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe stores environment by adhering to strict refinery, OSHA , and environmental regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with maintenance technicians, plant managers, and purchasing teams to fulfill material requisitions, issue spare parts, and expedite emergency stock.
System Operations:
Manage procurement and inventory databases (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Maximo), generate reports on stock levels, and identify obsolete materials for disposal.
Typical Qualifications & Physical Demands Experience:
3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control, specifically within heavy industry, oil & gas, or petrochemical environments.
Skills:
Proficiency with ERP/materials management software, forklift certification, and a strong understanding of supply chain logistics.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 to 75 lbs), and safely maneuver in industrial warehouse and yard environments.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (will be verified) Forklift certification (must be able to show a copy of the card or certification during phone screen) A valid driver's license card AND personal vehicle are required (for site safety compliance)
Pay:
$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
