This role determines product dispositions and performs quality checks for bananas, avocados, and other specified produce commodities. Full time, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday 5 day work week, 7am start time.
Rippening:
Operating and monitoring the ripening rooms using themperature and humidity controls.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect products to ensure all items meet company standards for quality and freshness.
Material Management:
Scheduling and adjusting ripening cycles based on customer demand and delivery timelines.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick and stage customer orders with high quality product.
Department Support:
Provide backup assistance to the order selecting department as needed.
Inventory Skills:
Apply strong mathematical skills for effective inventory management and order processing. Ripening Technician Qualifications Age (Required) : Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience (Preferred) : 1 year of experience with produce, a warehouse environment, packing, order selecting, or material handling. Equipment Operation (Required) : Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material transport equipment. Education (Preferred): High school diploma or equivalent.
