Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner II for a direct-hire opportunity in San Fernando, CA within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a planning professional with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys coordinating production schedules, solving inventory challenges, and working cross-functionally to keep operations running smoothly. The Production Planner II will play a key role in developing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability. - Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory requirements, and available capacity.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to support timely and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Identify material shortages, scheduling conflicts, and inventory discrepancies, then coordinate action plans to resolve them.
- Partner with internal teams, including production, inventory, shipping, receiving, purchasing, and customer support, to align planning priorities.
- Prepare and coordinate pull sheets for raw materials to support production needs.
- Communicate schedule updates, shortages, and operational changes to internal and external stakeholders. Compensation and Benefits
