Job Description

A successful Aerospace based Tube Bending and Fabrication Job Shop seeks a full time experienced Manufacturing Planner. The Materials Planner will be responsible for coordinating all material planning efforts between departments to meet customer expectations and company goals.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
- Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.) Maintains accurate information in MRP system, including item attributes, Bill of Material, production routings, and customer and production schedules. Monitors MRP, shortage lists, and related indicators to determine 100% material availability and a high rate of inventory turn to ensure 100% on-time customer delivery; utilizes audit reports and key performance metrics. Maintains master schedule or management of entry. Evaluates purchased part material requirements and plans supply. Coordinates cross functional activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering to ensure a smooth flow of materials through the production processes. Implements Engineering Change Notices. Replaces materials timely due to non-conformance or scrap. Identifies and communicates a detailed status on any material planning items impacting the production schedule (e.g. part shortages). Identifies opportunities for improvement within the materials group and leads improvement initiatives; achieve 100% material availability; increased inventory turnover; transaction, variance, and work order reduction; standard MRP set-ups and physical material flow across multiple programs. Maintains a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains and protects the confidentiality of the Company's information and products. Performs other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
EDUCATION
5+ years of experience in Estimating and Manufacturing Engineering or relevant field is preferred. 5 + years experience in aerospace industry preferred. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

$45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
