Job Description
Overview Keysight is at the forefront of technology innovation, delivering breakthroughs and trusted insights in electronic design, simulation, prototyping, test, manufacturing, and optimization. Our ~15,000 employees create world-class solutions in communications, 5G, automotive, energy, quantum, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor markets for customers in over 100 countries. Learn more about what we do. Our award-winning culture embraces a bold vision of where technology can take us and a passion for tackling challenging problems with industry-first solutions. We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers. This is an exciting opportunity to help turn advanced product ideas into high-performance solutions that can be successfully built and brought to market. As part of Keysight's New Product Introduction planning team, you will support the development of sophisticated high-frequency modules used within Keysight solutions. You will serve as a key connection among R D, design engineering, manufacturing, laboratories, suppliers, and external manufacturing partners. By translating evolving designs and technical requirements into clear, executable material and build plans, you will help teams move successfully from early development and prototype builds through product introduction and production transfer. In this highly visible role, you will coordinate material readiness across multiple fast-moving development programs, anticipate supply and schedule risks, respond to design changes, resolve material constraints, and help keep critical build and product-launch milestones on track. You will balance material availability, cost, quality, inventory, and delivery while working with a broad network of technical and operational partners. This role goes well beyond transactional purchasing. It offers exposure to the complete product-development lifecycle and the opportunity to influence how innovative products are planned, built, and introduced. You will also use modern digital and AI-enabled tools to develop schedules, analyze materials data, organize complex information, and communicate meaningful insights to project teams. The ideal candidate enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity, solving complex material challenges, and coordinating many interconnected activities. If you are highly organized, communicate confidently, and want your work to have a visible impact on the successful introduction of advanced technologies, this is an opportunity to become a trusted partner at the center of Keysight's NPI process. Responsibilities Lead project-management activities focused on material sourcing and readiness for new product development and introduction programs. Identify effective supply-chain solutions for prototype builds while supporting quality, schedule, and production cost targets. Coordinate with Procurement, Materials Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, R D, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to deliver supplier-sourcing decisions, part and subassembly quotations, prototype material schedules, material deliveries, manufacturing-documentation readiness, and production-ramp requirements. Develop and maintain clear material plans, schedules, risk assessments, decisions, and action items across multiple concurrent NPI programs. Collaborate with Procurement teams to develop commodity-sourcing and contract-manufacturing strategies that support new product development. Partner with global Keysight teams to manage material-delivery commitments and align them with prototype-build, project, and production schedules. Actively participate in cross-functional product-development teams to resolve constraints, support informed decision-making, and improve innovation and time to market. Lead or contribute to the design and execution of end-to-end supply-chain solutions covering planning, materials, information and financial flows, manufacturing, and logistics. Work with Technical Order Fulfillment, IT, R D, and other business partners to develop supply-chain solutions that address new-product requirements and support a successful transition into production. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, industrial engineering, engineering technology, or a related field. Typically, 4-5 years of relevant experience for entry to this level, preferably in NPI materials planning, manufacturing supply chain, procurement, or a related environment. Broad knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply-chain principles, including experience supporting new product development, prototype builds, or the transition of products into production. Working knowledge of MRP/ERP principles, bills of materials, inventory management, and material-planning processes. Demonstrated ability to independently develop and manage material plans, schedules, priorities, risks, and deliverables for projects of varying complexity. Experience coordinating material requirements and delivery commitments with suppliers, contract manufacturers, or internal manufacturing teams. Proven ability to communicate clearly, exercise sound judgment, and influence engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and other cross-functional partners without direct authority. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, evaluate alternatives, identify risks, and recommend appropriate actions. Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills, including the ability to maintain accurate schedules, decisions, commitments, and action items. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and changing priorities while remaining focused in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently, determine the appropriate approach to assignments, and operate effectively with varying levels of ambiguity during product development. Experience using digital productivity, data-analysis, or generative-AI tools to support project planning, scheduling, presentations, or materials analysis is preferred. ITAR Statement ITAR in
