Job Description
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. 5-year related minimum experience. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The salary range for this position is $85K to $100K Preferred Qualifications Lean Six Sigma APICS Certification PMP or Project Management Other Skills and Abilities Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Access, Word. SQL or data reporting are a plus. Excellent operational and financial analysis skills. Strong interpretation skills. Capable of handling multiple database systems and complex data compilation. Sound understanding of manufacturing planning, logistics, and operations. Good communication skills. Knowledge of sales or customer related roles in aerospace fasteners or related industry. This position may be located at our Torrance, Carson, Fullerton or City of Industry locations. Maintain planning tools and place intercompany orders to keep our customer inventory within Min/Max. i.e.: Surplus/Deficit model, Customer Demand & Consumption model (AMU). Analyze Work in Process positions to early identity fulfillment that is late to customer needs. Lead process‑improvement projects—identify scope, develop a project plan, and execute it (e.g., Order Replenishment, PO maintenance, and other logistics/supply‑chain initiatives). Enhance processes for generating and managing forecast models, financial data, and reports. Enhance quality of planning tools to improve inventory control and turns. Support day-to-day operations and tools for order replenishment, PO maintenance, and customer follow-ups. Collaborate with all Howmet Fastening System Sites including the planning and scheduling functions. Generate and analyze customer daily and weekly reports, i.e.: Inventory, Demand/Consumption, Min & Max inventory levels, Supply/Manufacturing Backlog, and Lead-time. Generate and analyze Key Performance Indicators, inventory, and shipping/financial data. Extract and prepare data from multiple databases to support contract and customer evaluations. Prepare and analyze data for monthly Operation Reviews.
