Quality Control Solutions Inc. has been in business since 1979 providing quality control solutions to manufacturing companies world wide with equipment, sales and services in our Temecula offices. We are looking for a part time person that would be willing to grow into a full time position. We want a person that brings a positive attitude everyday. QCSI is seeking an organized, highly detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team in a multi-faceted role. This position combines administrative office support, shipping and receiving coordination, and an introduction to calibrations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a stable career in technology, logistics, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities Office Administration:
First to answer the phones and direct calls developing a solid relationship between clients and our company. Checking daily mail. Assisting with general data entry, filing paperwork, processing documentation, and handling routine correspondence. Processing sales orders, work orders, and purchase orders.
Shipping & Receiving:
Package delicate precision instruments, manage inbound/outbound logistics via carrier portals, and verify all incoming orders. Work with the web developer to ensure that shipping dimensions and pricing on website are correct. Calibration Support (Trainee): Learn to assist with basic calibrations, handle precision gage, and document findings according to technical standards and SOPs. Assist with calibration certificate preparation and certificate review. Assist with
ISO 17025
2017 documentation and audits.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
3+ years of experience in an office, warehouse, retail logistics, or technical support environment preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the desire to grow into formulas. Basic digital workplace tools like Outlook and Teams. Experience in QuickBooks is desired.
Logistics Awareness:
Familiarity with preparing packages for shipping carriers, setting pick-ups, international shipments.
Communication:
Clear written and verbal communication skills for tracking documentation and client interactions. Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Must be a self-starter.
