Job Description

About Mitaka USA Mitaka USA is a national medical device sole-source distributorship looking to expand our administrative and shipping efforts at our office/operational facility in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Mitaka USA is made up of 18 direct employees and over 100 independent-manufacturer-representatives (IMRs) across the country. Currently, only six employees work out of our Colorado office in Wheat Ridge, primarily handling operational matters. We are a lean, growing team that promotes from within — most of our operations team started exactly where this role starts. We supply North American hospitals with specialty microsurgery products from Japan. Leading with Mitaka Kohki's premium surgical microscopes, we also have exclusive distribution rights for NIR ICG systems from Hamamatsu (PDE line), microsurgical instruments from EMI Factory, microsuture from Crownjun (Kono Seisakusho) and other products related to microsurgery. We focus on the following specialties: Plastics-Reconstructive Surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT/Otolaryngology, and Spine Surgery. The Role This is the entry point to our Technical Operations team and a real first rung on a career ladder. You will own small-parcel shipping and fulfillment out of our Colorado facility — getting sterile covers, surgical instruments, and accessories to customers accurately and on time — while supporting the bench team that repairs and commissions our microscopes. What You'll Do Pick, pack, and ship small-parcel orders — sterile covers, instruments, and accessories — accurately and on schedule. Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate with carriers, and track shipments through delivery. Help maintain inventory accuracy for consumables and accessories; assist with receiving and put-away. Support the Technical Operations bench team with material handling and fulfillment. Learn and help run our shipping and operations systems as we migrate to a new ERP. Keep the shipping and staging areas clean, organized, and compliant with medical-device handling standards Who You Are Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized — you take pride in getting every order right. Comfortable on your feet in a warehouse setting and working with your hands. Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems. Careful with sterile and medical products — we will train you on the specifics. Eager to grow — this is the first step, not the destination. Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent; shipping, logistics, or medical-device experience is a plus but not required. Your Growth Path We value internal growth and aim to provide advancement opportunities when they arise. As you build expertise in fulfillment and gain familiarity with the bench side of the business, there may be opportunities to take on technical responsibilities—such as demo-scope refurbishment, new-unit preparation, and repairs—under the guidance of our Director of Technical Operations. Compensation & Benefits $50-65k annual
