Job description Office Administration / Transportation Coordination Position Summary / Purpose A local company involved in warehouse and materials management, adding a high-performance team member for operational support and to coordinate growing inbound and outbound shipments. This position will utilize industry specific software to coordinate warehouse and transportation assignments as well as support various administrative functions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provide operations coordination through effective logistics/transportation scheduling including daily dispatch, driver communications, dock scheduling, and load documentation, Data entry, inventory entry/tracking, and customer invoice reporting utilizing industry software. Applicants with CieTrade experience will be favored. Ensure DOT compliance, complete required forms and registrations, and maintain internal records. Applicants with previous DOT experience will be favored. Accurately prepare customer work orders, receiving tickets, and outbound bill of ladings. Provide great customer and staff experience through phone and personal communications. Assist human resource functions including orientation of new employees, time sheets, benefits, and staffing schedules. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Participate in key projects through data research/review and reporting, workflow analysis, and staff support. QuickBooks knowledge - AR / AP is beneficial.
