Job Summary This position will be responsible for following the progress of O&R (Overhaul & Repair) parts through various manufacturing processes, and for the timely acquisition of parts and components from suppliers. It also includes providing early warning of schedule delays and initiating measures to ensure contract obligations are met. Key Responsibilities Create work orders and outside process shippers for parts utilizing ERP system Coordinate with production, engineering, sales, purchasing & shipping/receiving to expedite the flow of work orders. Track parts throughout the production process and provide ECD's to planner and management Provide monthly/weekly delivery commitments and ensure 100% commit integrity. Monitor assembled component hardware inventory levels and create purchase requisitions as necessary to meet customer demand. Maintain a high level of data integrity across all aspects of jobs that are being tracked. Create shippers, C of C's, and other documents as required to ship finished parts to customers Achieve high level of customer %OTD performance and minimize overdue/past due orders. Coordinate with expeditor to ensure that vendor promise dates are met and will support the production schedule. Participate in continuous improvement, cost saving and EH&S initiatives. May be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of company objectives and to develop individual skills. Skills & Qualifications A proactive team player with a background in production scheduling/expediting and inventory control in a capacity-constrained system. Proficient in MS office Knowledge and experience of MRP/ERP and schedule control in a data-driven environment. Must possess excellent reasoning and communication skills. Must be detail orientated and have strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy and quality of work, producing minimal errors. This role will require a high level of energy, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Education & Experience Experience in Aerospace industry preferred. Associate's degree or 2 to 5 years of related experience or a special combination of education and experience, and/or demonstrated accomplishments Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
