Logistics Coordinator Location:
Wilton CT Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm OR 2nd shift: Monday toFriday:
2:30 pm to 11 pm Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join an operations team supporting a fast-paced warehouse and cleanroom environment. This role plays a key part in coordinating material flow, supporting operational planning, and ensuring efficient execution across supply chain activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, materials management, and supply chain operations , along with strong communication skills and the ability to problem-solve in real time. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily logistics operations within warehouse and/or cleanroom environments Develop and manage shift-level personnel planning to ensure adequate staffing and output Collaborate with operational planning teams to adapt to changing demand and priorities Identify and resolve workflow disruptions (e.g., damaged materials, system discrepancies); escalate cross-functional issues as needed Set priorities for shop floor teams to ensure timely task completion Support and guide junior material handlers on processes and task execution Monitor and analyze material flow and quality issues; report findings to leadership Ensure adherence to 5S+1 and safety standards through regular workstation inspections Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and operational processes Participate in or lead operational projects, including process improvements and workflow optimization Contribute to cross-functional improvement efforts (e.g., value stream mapping, process workshops) Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience) Hands-on experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain operations Strong knowledge ofSAP / SAP ERP
systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets Experience working in warehouse inventory and logistics environments Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with data entry, order entry, and shipping/receiving processes Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, etc.) Key Skills Supply Chain & Logistics Management Materials CoordinationSAP / ERP
