JOB SUMMARY

The Integrated Transportation Transit Management Systems Integration Specialist I is responsible for assisting the ITMS Integration Specialist II in the maintenance and operation of the corporation¿s integrated transportation systems (ITS) at the hardware and application level.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Position Specific:

Support the ITMS Specialist II with the installation and maintenance of the following systems Vehicle Fare Collections instruments and their integration into the ITS Vehicle Location Systems and GPS components at the vehicle level Voice Announcement Systems hardware and programming Destination Sign integration to ITS Diagnostic System equipment

Technical Skills:

Work with the Integration Specialist II to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair integrated transportation systems statewide Apply knowledge of the architecture of ITS application integrations, interfaces, communication systems, independent components and co-dependent components and related subsystems Perform testing and implement changes needed to maintain the integrity of existing ITS as well as make the systems more effective for supporting the corporation¿s fixed route and paratransit fleet operations Identify problems that might interfere with the timely completion of a project, implement and provide solutions

Collaboration:
