Job Description

A Day in the Life The Fleet Logistics Specialist will join the Fleet Logistics team to improve logistical efficiencies and cost savings through enhanced data analytics and communication. The starting salary for this role is $60,000, commensurate with experience.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate vehicle transportation by securing carriers, conducting pricing analysis, creating purchase orders, and ensuring timely payment processing Monitor vehicle delivery and installation using exception-based reporting tools; serve as a fleet tracking platform super user to optimize asset utilization Support carrier onboarding by managing registration, validating insurance requirements, coordinating Oracle setup with Procurement, and maintaining current carrier documentation Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, customers, corporate teams, and field personnel, addressing inquiries and ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction Support customer growth through marketing initiatives, business development activities, and identifying opportunities to expand the customer base Manage customer invoicing, monitor outstanding balances, and facilitate timely collections Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance Perform logistics-related administrative functions across North America and complete additional assignments as directed by management
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related or analytical discipline preferred 1-3+ years of experience in Logistics, Finance, Analytics, or a related business field; Rent-A-Car industry experience preferred Knowledge of business, fleet, automotive, finance, and logistics concepts Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, including proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Demonstrated strengths in communication, collaboration, execution, initiative, process excellence, customer service, sales and business development, adaptability, talent development, and integrity
