Summary
Provides Organizational-level aircraft maintenance support on P-8 series aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.
This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
Essential Functions
Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs
Issue and receive tools and parts
Duties
Order/Issue/Receive tools, inventory and maintain tools, and Order/Dispose/Issue/Receive/Properly handle hazardous materials/waste per activity's Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and local governing directives.
Naval Aviation Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program
Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL)
Hazardous Material Control and Management (HMC&M) Program
Tool Control Program (TCP) Interface with QA and Maintenance Control
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years related experience required
3+ years P-8 or equivalent aircraft experience preferred
Must be able to work day, swing, mid, or weekend shift as required
Secret clearance required
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, climbing and/or use of a computer and office equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires sufficient vision to read and review records. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors in office/hangar and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Compensation
$22.30/hour + $2.65 H&W
