Hardware Support Employee

BASIC FUNCTIONS

PRIMARY:

To perform the Hardware Support functions in a timely, safe and profitable manner. To meet or exceed company and customer expectations.

SECONDARY

To support the Shop Foreman in achieving Department Goals.

REPORTING

The Hardware Support Employee reports directly to the Shop Foreman. The following positions report directly to the

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring your work areas are clean and presentable to customers. Maintaining confidentiality on all company subjects so classified. Maintain an average or higher score on Employee Evaluations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

The following are performed by the

Hardware Support Employee:

1. "Pull" stock material for basic delivery tickets. 2. Receive Hardware. 3. Match P.O.'s and Packing Slips for quality and correctness. 4. Itemize materials for jobs using the Hardware Schedules. 5. Stock the Inventory shelves. 6. Inform Supervision of low Stock levels. 7. Perform input of data into the computer, when applicable. 8. Deliver large Hardware orders, and smaller parts deliveries, as required. 9. Perform the Monthly Inventory. 1o. Write Delivery Tickets associated with the Hardware Schedules. 11. Perform the "Keying" function on locks. 12. Perform other tasks, as per Supervision.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

The following are required of the

To meet or beat all budgets, time schedules, and performance evaluation goals at least 95% of the time, without sacrificing quality or safety.

High School or GED - This may be waived for experience. Two or Three years of Inventory, Administrative work. Good ability to determine causes of problems and mechanically inclined. Able to push or pull up to 100 lbs. Use of arms, hands, vision and voice. Able to read, write and speak English. Able to comprehend basic math. When in the outer warehouse facility, fumes from vehicles and gas operated equipment may be present.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
