Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the Production, Planning and Control organization. Our team is responsible for developing and executing plans to produce high‑quality products on time and within budget, optimizing production schedules, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Planner you will be responsible for translating demand forecasts into actionable production schedules, aligning resources, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with demand forecasts. Coordinate material and resource availability across suppliers and internal teams. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements. Communicate schedule changes and status updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout planning activities. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2+ years of professional experience; or a related Masters degree. Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, therefore must be a U.S. Citizen. Past experience with Make and Buy Planning, manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Desired Skills:
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) SAP ERP experience Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills Excellent communication skills Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business. Inventory Control and material handling knowledge. Experience with material and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas Green belt trained and or certified Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification Very good organization and communication skills

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
