Material Hander Dayshift The Material Handler is responsible for handling, counting, identifying, moving, and organizing materials throughout the warehouse. This includes maintaining accurate inventory quantities and locations using software systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Safely handles material to prevent injury to self/others and damage to material
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouse by following best practices and standard procedures where applicable
• Communicates material shortages, defectives, or incorrect locations during job duties to supervision
• Assists in unloading container shipments as needed
• Assists with the material handling responsibilities of other departments as needed
• Uses handheld RF scanner or computer to look up/perform basic functions in software system: o Part locations o Inventory quantities o Material picking transactions
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
