Job Description

The primary focus for the Routing Analyst is to route deliveries by analyzing each production ticket/order for accuracy and assigning them to delivery routes to maximize usage of available drivers and equipment in the most efficient manner. The Routing Analyst will work with Manufacturing Team Lead, Inventory Specialist, Logistics Team Lead daily to identify errors and coordinate with OFT team members on large orders to ensure that all orders are delivered on time/complete. Complete your required amount of monthly training. e. Follow the Team Member process by participating in monthly one-on-ones, quarterly touch-bases and annual assessments with their lead/leader of their team in which you collaborate to develop and execute a growth plan to "better their lives and increase their value to TCM." 2.Implement improved operating rhythm to drive employee engagement and development. a. Attend the Weekly Level 10 Team Meetings. b. Participate and receive the required amount of monthly training per Team Member. Expectations for your Role 1.Innovate the Internal Customer Service Experience. a. Monitor group email and phones as quick action may need to be taken. b. Prepare driver sheets showing the route assigned and ensure each driver is provided an accurate and comprehensive list of stops that are pre-routed for efficiency. c. Prepare all paperwork to accompany the driver sheet and communicate with production. 2.Innovate the External Customer Service Experience. a. Verify delivery address and communicate with CSRs when there is a conflict to have the address corrected. b. Maintain and input data into delivery software and app. c. Prepare a specific request note for delivery of drop information desired by the customer to enhance the effectiveness of the delivery activity. 3.Safety And Engagement a. Wear all PPE required to perform daily tasks b. Near miss and incident reporting c. Toolbox conversations and daily safety huddles d. Number of issues addressed via the safety committee. e. Quickly report accidents and injuries following all safety and emergency procedures. Note all details surrounding these events and report to Team Lead. f. % OTC of assigned safety training 4. Compliance with efficiency standards for the department. a. Monitor all trucks for weight and load restrictions- Per DOT guidelines. b. Route deliveries to maximize utilization of the fleet and meet our customer needs on time/complete with a goal of a minimum of 3.2 stops per driver. c. Ensure routes can be accomplished within the driver's hours of service and weight/dimensional restrictions. Role Requirements 1. Skills Needed. a. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately multitask. b. Ability to learn products and proper installation knowledge. c. Team focused - Work well with other staff to get desired results. g. Service Oriented - Actively looking for ways to help people and processes. h. Problem solver, critical thinker, handling multiple issues at the same time. i. Active listener, communicator, strong people skills with conflict resolution abilities. j. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, NetSuite and ability to learn other programs. k. Type 60 wpm. l. 10 Key Calculator. m. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. n. Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted. 2.Education/Experience. a. High school diploma or equivalent. b. 2 years of routing/logistics experience (preferred)
