Job Description

The Manufacturing Planning Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the scheduling and logistics activities in a manufacturing plant. This will include routine keying, managing, maintaining, and distributing documents, interfacing with internal departments, external customers, and hauling vendors, and other administrative accountabilities as required. This position will also provide backup support for the Manufacturing Planning functions as needed. This role is located in our Lavonia, GA plant.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare shipping documentation for the purpose of permitting based on load schedules Generate and maintain reports to measure service levels, freight costs, scheduling changes, and load safety. Communicate Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETAs) to Homebuilding operations and schedule changes to field personnel. Order blueprints and coordinate delivery to the field. Provide support and back up, as needed, for Scheduling and Logistics tasks, including, but not limited to, order entry and delivery schedule creation. Key selection sheets and extra material. Execute weekly package billing, ensuring timely invoicing of all rough and trim packages. Complete weekly/daily billing for miscellaneous material. Review site delivery reports for problems and report to leadership accordingly. Assist with other administrative tasks, as assigned, and cross-train in other departments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' related administrative experience.
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and written, with the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Results driven with the ability to balance multiple priorities and changing demands.
  • Willing to learn and take initiative.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
