Role:
Perform any or multiple (2-3) of the functions listed: (pick, pack, or stock) to assist with single and multiple merchandise orders, following approved procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Function Pick Assembles merchandise orders according to conditions on pick tickets Ensures all orders are picked, unless a requested item is out of stock Know the location of all merchandise within the distribution center Move buggy to packing line Pack Pack merchandise according to customer requirements Seal cartons using tape or other materials Examine and inspect cartons and materials to ensure packing specifications are met Mark and label cartons using marking tools Stock Move stock from reserve warehouse to active warehouse- Open cartons using cutting tool Ensure merchandise is placed in the proper location Breakdown boxes using cutting tool Other Read and understand pick tickets Maintain at least minimum productivity and quality standards while also following safety procedures Notify supervisor of shortages of materials and/or product Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
