Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be an essential part of the operations support team, ensuring smooth daily functions and effective communication across departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Shift:
Evening shift (6:30 PM to 3:00 AM), Monday through Friday What's the Job? Handle various office and administrative duties, including accounts payable/receivable, collections, payroll, and fuel reconciliation Maintain accurate records of logs, trip reports, and DOT reporting requirements Assist with customer service interactions and resolve driver equipment requests Maintain and distribute route books, coordinate driver coverage, and track pallets daily Perform miscellaneous reporting, database maintenance, and support for operational needs What's Needed? Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Basic proficiency with office software and database management Willingness to work evening hours and support team needs What's in it for me?
