231321 Job Description Cintas is seeking a Demand Planner I to create, maintain and own monthly forecast models for assigned production groups and materials and to input the monthly demand plan communicated by the Demand Analyst into the SAP APO system. Responsibilities include analyzing each material's monthly forecast statistical model and finalizing the consensus forecasts by distribution center and material as appropriate; managing system forecast alerts, forecast accuracy reports and making necessary adjustments to forecasts utilizing the Demand Analyst demand plan; interpreting all customer and historic data to properly analyze information to aid in the development of the consensus forecast; understanding the risk associated with the forecasts and the inventory investments being made, such as adding new items, adding SKUs and increasing sales forecasts; reviewing and assessing liability documents for assigned materials with Demand Analyst; working with the Buying team on any associated risks and rollout timelines; communicating effectively, building relationships and trust with all cross-functional areas being sure to communicate and educate on forecasting concerns, observations, recommendations and soliciting feedback accordingly; participating in monthly demand meetings with the different business divisions and monthly capacity reviews internally with Supply Chain leadership; proactively identifying, resolving and communicating issues surrounding the forecasts; ensuring management is informed and involved in issue resolution; collaborating with Demand Analysts and Buying team on assigned materials; working cooperatively with others to accomplish shared objectives, gaining trust and support of managers and peers. Skills/Qualifications Required High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree, preferred in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Mathematics or Statistics Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet Ability to look at large amounts of data and break it down into necessary and meaningful business information Preferred Experience with SAP Benefits Cintas offers comprehensive and competitive medical, dental and vision benefits, with premiums below the national average.
