Job Description
About the Role Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Production Planner to manage production scheduling and planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing production schedules, coordinating materials and resources, monitoring capacity, and ensuring customer demand is met efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MRP, production planning, supply chain, and metal manufacturing , along with excellent analytical and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, materials, and lead times. Coordinate production activities with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Distribution teams. Monitor production performance and identify scheduling issues, capacity constraints, and bottlenecks. Coordinate with Procurement to ensure materials are available when needed. Work with Sales to forecast demand and adjust production plans accordingly. Determine outsourcing requirements based on plant capacity and product lead times. Monitor production orders for accuracy and ensure schedules remain achievable. Participate in production planning and scheduling meetings to resolve conflicts and improve plant performance. Analyze production data and recommend corrective actions and process improvements. Regularly evaluate production performance and adjust plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and on-time delivery. Maintain accurate planning records and production documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field . 5+ years of experience as a Production Planner or in a similar manufacturing planning role. 1+ year of experience in metal manufacturing . Strong working knowledge of MRP, production planning, inventory, and supply chain principles . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive production deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications APICS certification (CPIM or related). Experience in HVAC or commercial building products manufacturing . Experience with capacity planning, demand forecasting, and production optimization. Compensation & Benefits $70,000-$80,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications.
