Logistics Warehouse Security Officer Location:

Des Plaines, IL

Pay Rate:

$16.00 per hour We are seeking a professional, observant, and detail-oriented Logistics Warehouse Security Officer to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the safety, security, and operational efficiency of a busy warehouse and distribution facility. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers. Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of warehouse floors, storage areas, yard space, and docks. Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems. Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, alarms, or safety concerns. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, visitor/truck entries, and incidents. Communicate effectively with staff, management, and incoming officers during shift hand-offs. Required Qualifications Illinois 20-Hour Unarmed Security Training Certificate Active Illinois PERC License Previous security experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or industrial settings Valid driver's license and clean driving record; must clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, indoors and outdoors Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional, calm, and dependable in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment Ability to accurately document activities and follow established procedures IL #122-001049 IL #123.000460 #IND1 Education Requirements (All) HS Diploma GED or H.S.
