As a Senior Specialist, Trade & Transportation Compliance at RXO, you will serve as a subject matter expert for transportation and trade regulatory compliance programs supporting Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage operations. You will provide guidance, training, and oversight related to transportation security, export compliance, manifesting requirements, and industry regulations while helping ensure compliance across all business units. Become a part of our growing, dynamic team and help strengthen compliance processes that support our customers and operations. What your day-to-day will look like: Serve as the subject matter expert for transportation and regulatory compliance programs Provide oversight and guidance related to AMS filings and bill of lading issuance requirements Monitor compliance with Electronic Export Information (EEI) filing requirements and export regulations Support compliance activities related to Container Freight Station (CFS) operations, storage, and cargo release requirements Assist with administration and maintenance of regulatory programs, including FMC, TSA, and CTPAT Develop, maintain, and communicate compliance policies and procedures Conduct internal compliance reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement Prepare and distribute regulatory updates, compliance bulletins, and customer communications Partner with operations, sales, and customers to address regulatory compliance questions and concerns Deliver internal, cross-functional, and customer-facing training programs Support external audits, certifications, assessments, and corrective action plans Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts and implementation requirements across the organization At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of freight forwarding, international transportation, customs brokerage, or regulatory compliance experience Knowledge of international transportation documentation and regulatory requirements Experience with Microsoft Office applications Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills It'd be great if you also have: Experience with AMS, EEI, and export compliance requirements Knowledge of FMC, TSA, and CTPAT regulations and programs Experience supporting CFS operations and transportation security requirements Experience conducting compliance reviews and investigations Experience developing and delivering training programs Strong project management and process improvement skills Does this sound like you?
