Job Description

Position Purpose:
Support the procurement and international export teams in all aspects of day to day business through shipment management and International compliance requirements. The person will be responsible for coordinating all the daily shipment activities, which includes preparing
AES & ISF
filings, preparing and submitting ocean bills of lading instructions, and preparing relevant shipment documentation.
Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing, coordination, and logistics of international import and export shipments Manage shipment documentation and organize the documents with relevance to the country and customer Must be able to address and engage multi-functional teams, as necessary, to ensure customer and business sustainability Analyzes International business and manage data in open order reports, and logistics reports. Initiate action to allow for on-time delivery or notify customer when delivery can be expected. Communicate with freight forwarders to obtain rate quotes, track/ trace ocean freight shipments, and book shipments Assist with arrangement of ocean import shipments to include customs clearance, ISF, commercial invoicing and packing list requirements Assists accounts and salespeople in respective territories. Collaborate with accounts payable on submission of invoices for freight vendors
Education, Skills and Abilities:
