Our Opportunity North American Lighting ( NAL ) is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist

The ideal candidate will deal directly with suppliers to ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of parts and associated paperwork to appropriate NAL locations according to required delivery schedules. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities

+ Checks with suppliers on delivery dates in order to reduce potential for past due deliveries.

+ Identifies delivery problems and works with suppliers and internal resources to resolve.

+ Transmits orders electronically on a daily basis.

+ Addresses supplier issues related to over/under receipts and labelling concerns.

+ Addresses emergency issues via telephone during off-hours, as needed.

+ Tracks Supplier's pre-production inventory levels weekly. The salary range for this position is $44,900

  • $72,300 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled. Requirements Your Background + High School Diploma or GED , plus 4
  • 6 years of experience in an office/administrative or related position—including 2 year of experience in a JIT environment OR + Associate's Degree in a business or manufacturing-related discipline, plus 2
  • 4 years of experience in a related position OR + Bachelor's Degree in a business or manufacturing-related discipline, plus 0
  • 2 years of experience in a related position.

Experience in supplier scheduling, logistics, and production control is preferred.
