Supply Chain Engineer 2

Oct 19, 2026 Swoon's manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst who also understands material flow and transportation operations. The person needs to sit between logistics operations and data/analytics—someone who can look at inventory, shipments, demand, and material movement, then build dashboards/tools that help the business make better decisions. This role is fully onsite in the client's Pontiac, IL office. This is a 12 month contract with potential to extend. Job Purpose

Lead the development and implementation of logistics and material flow tools that improve demand alignment, inventory visibility, and transportation performance across multiple facilities. Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure the timely and efficient movement of materials while driving continuous improvement, reducing costs, and supporting high-velocity material flow through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, Microsoft Lists, SharePoint solutions, and other digital tools to monitor demand alignment, inventory position, and material flow across multiple facilities.

Analyze logistics, transportation, and material flow data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Provide logistics management and support for inbound and outbound material movement, ensuring materials are shipped, received, stored, and delivered efficiently. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using CPS Guiding Principles to: Eliminate excess inventory and Improve demand and supply alignment.

Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, planners, distribution centers, IT teams, and business units to improve material visibility and logistics execution.

Support facility and business unit logistics operations through data analysis, reporting, and process optimization. Qualifications 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, material planning, transportation, or data analytics.

Experience developing reporting and analytics tools using Power BI, Microsoft Lists, SharePoint, and related Microsoft platforms.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
