Romeoville, Illinois Salary Range:
$20.00-$22.00 hourly (DOE)Work Schedule:

Quality Craft directs its product development focus on three key categories: storage and organization, outdoor living, and surfaces. These categories are supported through our three product brands: Montezuma, Blue Sky Outdoor Living, and Admira Collection. Our Romeoville office is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Logistics operations in Romeoville, Illinois. Position Overview The Logistics Coordinator supports the coordination and execution of outbound shipments from all North American warehouses and distribution centers to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role works closely with warehouse staff, carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams to manage shipping documentation, track shipments, and resolve logistical issues. Job Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and process shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, labels), schedule and coordinate parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments, and create shipment setups for domestic and international sample deliveries to factories and customers.
- Communicate with carriers, brokers, vendors, and internal teams via email, messaging, and phone to ensure timely, accurate, and high-priority shipment execution.
- Track shipments and update delivery status across internal systems, EDI systems, third-party platforms, and customer portals.
- Create and apply shipping labels in a warehouse environment and provide required paperwork to warehouse associates to ensure accurate flow of LTL/FTL shipments.
- Record daily shipment volumes, verify end-of-day carrier tendering accuracy, and generate shipping performance and cost reports.
- Develop pallet, truck, and container load plans using internal systems.
- Identify and resolve shipping issues including errors, delays, shortages, and damages; process carrier claims and provide required updates, escalating issues when necessary.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper equipment use and required PPE (steel toe shoes and high-visibility vest).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and logistics office space. Qualifications
- Knowledge of shipping methods and industry-standard practices (parcel, LTL, FTL) with strong ability to maintain quality standards, reduce errors, and minimize rework
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, WMS, scanners) with ability to quickly learn proprietary systems
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent service to customers and internal departments
- Ability to understand and respond to time-sensitive customer and sales team needs and requests
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality for customer and company information
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and work overtime as required Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English Working Environment/Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
