This is a highly visible and analytical role responsible for maintaining product availability, managing supplier relationships, improving inventory performance, and aligning purchasing decisions with sales forecasts and business demand. What You'll Be Doing Analyze sales history, seasonality, inventory levels, and market trends to support forecasting and purchasing decisions. Create and manage purchase orders while monitoring delivery dates, order status, and supplier exceptions. Maintain appropriate inventory and safety-stock levels while reducing stockouts, excess inventory, and overstock. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, minimum-order quantities, and delivery timelines. Track supplier performance, including quality, responsiveness, compliance, and on-time delivery. Maintain accurate item, supplier, and purchasing data within ERP and reporting systems. Prepare purchasing, inventory, supplier-performance, and cost-variance reports. Partner with Sales, Operations, Sourcing, and Quality to resolve supply-chain issues and support new product launches. Assist with supplier documentation, food-import requirements, regulatory compliance, and corrective-action follow-up. Identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities across the supplier base and product portfolio. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in buying, purchasing, procurement, supply planning, or inventory planning. Direct experience within food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, grocery, food distribution, or a closely related CPG environment is required. Experience purchasing and managing inventory for high-volume, SKU-intensive consumer products. Strong understanding of demand forecasting, replenishment, inventory management, supplier performance, and purchase-order execution. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis. Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is helpful but not required. Tableau or other dashboard and reporting experience is a plus. Experience working with international suppliers, imported food products, FDA requirements, or FSVP compliance is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple suppliers, products, and priorities. Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced and growing environment. Why Consider This Opportunity?
