Full Job Description Position Summary :
Clerk Wave Planning is a key contributor to TaylorMade's North American Distribution Center. This position is responsible for releasing and managing stock orders based on "first in - first out" inventory methodology [FIFO]. This position requires a strong sense of urgency to support the achievement of shipping goals by monitoring work flow from release to ship complete. •Position is located in Evansville, Indiana•
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Wave plan orders, including verification that inventory is available for orders Ensure balanced mix of work orders to Pick Line to maintain efficient process flow Utilize WMS/EBS to confirm status of stock orders Perform the "ship complete" operation hourly and work closely with ViaWare specialist to clean up inventory control systems (EBS & ViaWare) Promptly address inventory issues that arise Sort orders by dates, priority, highest value and highest demand based on [FIFO] Release orders to sort and consolidate team, keeping in mind current workload capacities Communicate regularly with domestic/international coordinators, sort and consolidate team, warehouse supervisors, and check pack supervisors to ensure on-time shipping to customers Work with receiving team to establish clear priorities for incoming materials Diligently manage email and phone communications from Customer Service group and respond in a timely manner Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of the organization Ability to analyze, investigate, and resolve shipment delivery issues in a timely manner Proven strength in WMS required; Via Ware strongly preferred Proficient use of Oracle EBS Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in distribution Experience working with third-party logistics [3PL] providers a plus Work Environment /
Physical Requirements:
Extensive computer and phone usage Ability to work extended hours as necessary Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials TaylorMade Golf Company is an equal opportunity employer.
