Full-Time Launch Your IT Career with a Leading Healthcare Organization Are you looking for an opportunity to combine hands-on warehouse experience with technology and IT asset management? We are seeking an Asset Management / Inventory Control Specialist to join a growing team that supports one of the region's largest healthcare systems. This role is an excellent entry point into the IT field and offers exposure to hardware management, inventory control, ServiceNow, asset tracking, and technical operations. You'll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting the full lifecycle of technology assets including laptops, monitors, mobile devices, and other IT equipment. What You'll Do Asset Receiving & Inventory Control Receive and inspect incoming shipments of IT equipment including laptops, monitors, and peripherals. Verify inventory against purchase orders and packing slips. Process receipts within inventory management systems to ensure accurate recordkeeping. Break down pallets and organize equipment for storage and deployment. Asset Tracking & Data Management Apply asset tags and scan equipment into company inventory systems. Record and maintain serial numbers, asset information, and device locations. Update inventory and asset records using Excel, ServiceNow, and internal tracking systems. Conduct inventory audits and ensure data accuracy. Warehouse Operations Stock inventory on warehouse shelves and designated rack locations. Pick, pack, and prepare equipment for shipment to internal customers and locations. Operate pallet jacks and assist with material movement throughout the warehouse. Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment. Asset Lifecycle & Equipment Management Track devices from receipt through deployment and retirement. Assist with device decommissioning, data destruction, and asset disposal processes. Support equipment refurbishment and redeployment efforts when applicable. Update asset status throughout the equipment lifecycle. Qualifications Required Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or asset management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy. Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Comfortable working with technology and electronic equipment. Preferred Experience with IT hardware such as laptops, monitors, printers, and peripherals. Familiarity with ServiceNow, Cherwell, CMDB, or similar asset management platforms. Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems. Prior inventory tracking, asset tagging, or barcode scanning experience. Interest in building a long-term career in IT or technical operations.
