Full Job Description EMAC Reimbursement Specialist Location:
Indianapolis, IN || Onsite ||
Contract Schedule:
Weekdays, 37.5 hours/week We are seeking an EMAC Reimbursement Specialist to support emergency management and disaster recovery activities.
Responsibilities:
Review disaster reimbursement packets for accuracy and completeness. Verify timesheets, equipment records, expenses, and supporting documentation. Coordinate with agencies and personnel to resolve missing or incorrect information. Assist with EMAC requests, deployments, and resource tracking. Prepare and audit reimbursement packages for submission. Reconcile costs with assisting agencies and requesting clients. Provide regular status updates to leadership. Maintain organized records and documentation.
Requirements:
Emergency Management experience is preferred but not required . Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple agencies/personnel. Good computer, documentation, and basic math skills. Knowledge of EMAC is a plus; Just-in-Time training can be provided . This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in emergency management, disaster recovery, reimbursement, logistics, government programs, or documentation/auditing.
