Materials Specialist Essential Job Duties:
Stocks supplies in the Storeroom and PAR closets using FIFO method. Transports supplies and equipment following safety protocols. Checks expiration of supplies routinely. Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the supplies, supply bins, Storeroom, and PAR closets. Assists with equipment finding, moving, cleaning, as needed. Reports issues with supply availability to the shift lead or manager. Conducts physical inventory on a routine basis. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies and procedures. Completes other duties as assigned. Education, Training & Experience High school degree or equivalent required. Function grasp of standard written and verbal English. Accomplished at basic business math. Basic computer and computer keyboard experience. Flexible work schedule to meet the demands of the department. Experience in inventory methods preferred.
