Come change the game with us. Apply today! The Sr. Logistics Planner helps plan and facilitate the movement of goods through our North America Distribution Centers. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to be a true decision maker on how to move products most efficiently to meet the NA Supply Chain receipt goals. This includes advising the Order Planning Management and Operational teams on broad process improvement opportunities as well as providing technical expertise. You will work collaboratively with department leaders and cross-functional partners to deliver and execute the NA Supply Chain goals and strategies. Responsibilities Provide timely follow-up to the Order Planning Management team, Merchant team, Sr. Director of Operations, Sr. Manager of Planning, and VP of Operations on issues affecting freight flow Produce the Junction City Daily Inbound Work List by balancing Divisional priorities, free time expiry, optimum flow of freight, and throughput capabilities Establish strong working relationships with internal and external business partners that enable and support mutual success Demonstrate ability to work on teams as well as independently with minimal supervision. High level of analytical and critical thinking skills Understand basic operational flow and processes throughout the distribution centers and assist with receipt issues at distribution centers Support innovative initiatives to enhance the North America Supply Chain network, simplify work output, and improve/align processes throughout our distribution centers Qualifications Demonstrated distribution planning experience or Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Data Analytics, and/or Finance/Accounting Comprehensive experience building reporting and analyzing data in Excel and Power BI Proficiency with WM (warehouse management) systems, Manhattan preferred Strong communication and presentation skills Inquisitive with a drive to find out "why" Ability to handle multiple high priority projects while maintaining day-to-day needs
Preferred:
Experience building reporting in SQL and/or Python highly Certifications in data analytics, APICs, Lean manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma Experience designing and implementing replenishment strategies At Foot Locker, we value innovation, authenticity, and integrity in all that we do. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
