M-F Job Description:
We are looking for a confident, computer-savvy addition to our Indirect Materials team here in Fairfax, KS. This position is full-time and in person. The ideal candidate will be familiar with situations with a sense of urgency - a necessity in the supply chain industry. The MRP Planner handles a high volume of independent work, so time management, follow-up, and prioritizing will be necessary. Strong problem-solving abilities and on-the-fly decision-making are needed to be successful in this role. We are a small team and are in constant communication with each other to complete projects and long-term goals. Being able to contribute to the individual role and to the team's overall mission is very important.
Description/Requirements:
Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet maintenance requirements and minimum safety stock levels Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP systems Advanced Excel skills - specifically VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables Purchasing or inventory management background Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, and the customer Knowledge, skill, and experience related to working with computers and a variety of computer systems/programs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred. Skill in evaluating data, looking for trends, determining the appropriate course of action, and gaining acceptance of recommendations. Ability to follow directives faithfully and work without close supervision.
