The Production Planner helps keep the distribution center running smoothly by staying on top of orders, pick releases, replenishment, shipping needs, and daily production reports. Success in this role means having accurate information, catching and fixing issues quickly, keeping orders moving, and working closely with the Shipping Supervisor and other teams to meet daily goals. This role is also a key point of communication between the DC, Customer Service, Transportation, International, other locations, and outside partners to make sure everyone has the information they need. Overall, the Production Planner helps the DC meet customer and sales commitments while improving productivity, keeping revenue and reporting accurate, and giving management a clear picture of daily performance. This position reports to the Sr. Manager and is based out of our Olathe office. As the Production Planner, you will have an opportunity to: Update production reports every two hours Run Air/Ecommerce plans/order reject report for reject fixes Attending daily morning meetings with updated daily report Analyze PPL's/Analyze pick release along with notifying groups to allocate orders in the pool Constant communication with various locations/companies regarding customer service/tracking information Send all needed updated list/orders to appropriate groups involved Constantly updating & running reports (in house/offsite) throughout the day Run Production Planning report/PPL working close with Shipping Supervisor to maximize picking metrics Prioritize replenishment in RFQ/clean Load Build and rebuild along with updating all parties involved Send transportation updates/specials (DSG, FTL, CUST
REQT, ETC
) Report any International orders to the international team to report revenue that will not ship Keep track of revenue recognition at end of month Keep daily total of MTD & expected sales that will be billed Adjust Parcels/Delete Orders Analyze rejects and notify personnel for appropriate fixes Set up all third-party/log-pro customers as required Invoice all demo or direct orders Notify customer service to drop orders Maintain & update Shipping Error report and communicate to Management Basic transfer and matrix functions Pick release - clean up pick release after drops (i.e.: orders held up due to overallocation) Produce scorecards and KPI reports for DC and Logistics You have: High school diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or production environment. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and automated warehouse management systems. Strong reading and comprehension skills with the ability to understand and follow detailed instructions. Basic interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with different teams. Proven track record of providing excellent internal and external customer service. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. Working knowledge of ERP systems. Working knowledge of NetSuite, BOSS, and Log Pro.

$33.65 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
