Regular Hours:
5:00pm- 5:30am
- 12 Hour Rotating Schedule Orientation and first week schedule: Tuesday (Orientation)
- Friday 8:00am
- 4:30pm Job Summary As a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator, your role is pivotal in driving optimization across warehouse operations, ensuring smooth shipping and receiving procedures, streamlined inventory management, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities Safety:
Adhere to company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment. Monitor traffic incoming and outgoing at the Production Campus, extending to overseeing traffic not only at the guardhouse but also controlling traffic at the main entrance during evening and weekend hours. Maintain a detailed log of individuals granted access at the main entrance, ensuring accurate record-keeping and security protocol adherence.Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and product locations. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.Shipping and Receiving:
Ensure compliance of inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer demand and deadlines. Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accurate documentation and quality control. Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange transportation. Oversee yard management.Warehouse Organization:
Optimize warehouse layout and storage space to maximize efficiency. Implement and enforce organization and cleanliness standards.Quality Control:
Monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing products to meet quality standards. Investigate and resolve any product quality issues, documenting findings and solutions.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to achieve operational goals. Provide guidance and training to warehouse personnel as needed.Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and operational activities. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one year of work experience required. Previous experience in warehouse/inventory management and data systems preferred. Basic computer application and database skills, including Word, Excel, and SAP. Prior experience using PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) required. Ability to obtain PIT certification upon hire is required. Capable of being cross trained within the warehouse department (recycle machines, yard driver, forklift). Capable of working flexible shifts when necessary, including evenings and weekends.Physical Requirements Speaking:
