Air Capitol Delivery & Warehouse - 3.4 Park City, KS Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Spanish Customer communication Sourcing Market analysis Logistics management Over the road (OTR) driving routes English Mid-level Supply chain transportation management Dispatching Decision making Transportation planning Appointment scheduling Freight Hours of Service (HOS) regulations 2 years Communication skills Full Job Description Dispatch and manage OTR drivers across multiple regions Plan and optimize loads, routes, and network coverage to maximize revenue and minimize deadhead Source freight using primarily dedicated customer relationships Proactively assign loads based on driver availability, HOS, and market conditions Monitor driver Hours of Service (HOS) and ensure FMCSA compliance Maintain consistent, professional communication with drivers Track loads from pickup through delivery and ensure service expectations are met, updating customers of any potential issues Coordinate appointments, breakdowns, weather delays, and reroutes in real time Collaborate with brokers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly Maintain accurate data in the TMS (currently Loadstop) Analyze lanes and market trends to improve efficiency and profitability Support a positive driver experience to improve retention 2+ years of OTR dispatch and/or load planning experience Strong understanding of HOS and FMCSA regulations Experience with ELDs and TMS platforms Ability to manage multiple drivers and loads in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing or planning for 35+ trucks Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop, or other load boards Knowledge of freight markets and lane optimization strategies Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
