Manages inbound raw materials and outbound shipments of finished metal posters. Coordinates freight carriers, shipping documents (BOLs), and parcel dispatch to meet delivery targets. About the
Role:
The Logistics Coordinator, under the direction of the Operations Manager, helps oversee logistics, freight, and parcel distribution activities for our metal manufacturing facility. You will ensure raw metal and packaging supplies arrive on schedule while managing outbound freight and parcel couriers to ship finished metal artwork efficiently to customers worldwide.
Essential Job Functions & Duty Disclosure:
Physical Demands:
Balance between desk work and active warehouse floor tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and navigate loading dock areas safely.
Work Environment:
Warehouse, loading dock, and office environments. Exposure to changing outdoor weather conditions at loading bays, forklift traffic, and ambient noise.

Schedule and track all inbound raw material deliveries and outbound parcel/freight shipments (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL carriers). Generate, verify, and archive shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), commercial invoices, customs paperwork, and packing slips. Coordinate with the packaging department to stage, palletize, and load outgoing shipments according to carrier pickup schedules. Audit carrier freight bills, resolve delivery discrepancies, and file claims for damaged or missing transit goods. Maintain organized inventory records for staging areas, loading docks, and external warehouse storage.
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
