Job Description

About Blooming Color We're a technology-powered print manufacturer with facilities in Lombard, IL and Louisville, KY. We handle high-volume, high-stakes orders for multinational brands — the kind where precision at scale isn't optional. Since 1988, we've built a reputation on one principle: the answer is always yes. That means when something looks impossible, we lean in. Our Louisville facility opened in 2025 near UPS Worldport, positioning us to serve clients worldwide with faster fulfillment and smarter logistics. The Role We need someone who speaks USPS. Not just someone who's shipped a package — we mean someone who understands how postal operations actually work. Someone who knows the clerks, the systems, the unspoken rules that keep mail moving. You'll be the bridge between our Louisville facility and the United States Postal Service, managing everything from daily deliveries to resolving account issues with our accounting team. Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime when needed. What You'll Do Drive our company box truck to the post office daily and present mail to USPS clerks in a way that keeps relationships smooth and processes moving Order mail tags and PMOD boxes through specialized procurement channels Organize outbound mail flow and staging in our adjacent facility — including managing storage locations and prepping for USPS pickup Work directly with mail clerks to load mail onto USPS trailers (this is hands-on, physical work) Operate a reach truck, pallet jack, and wrapping equipment to organize supplies on warehouse racking Use Endicia software and USPS dashboards to track shipments, generate labels, and troubleshoot workflows Collaborate with accounting to solve customer account funding issues that affect mail processing What We're Looking For Experience with USPS operations — whether you worked inside the postal service, at a mail house, or in a logistics role that required deep USPS coordination. We need someone who's done this before, or someone genuinely excited to learn it from the ground up.
Beyond that:
you're tech-forward (comfortable learning new software and troubleshooting on a computer), you have good judgment and interpersonal charm (working with USPS clerks requires respect and relationship-building), and you're physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, operating warehouse equipment, and handling extended standing, bending, and loading. Clean driving record required. You'll be driving a box truck in all weather conditions. Why Work Here You'll work in a fast-paced environment where your reliability directly impacts delivery timelines for brands around the world. Within 90 days, you'll have built working relationships with USPS clerks, you'll be confident across all software systems, and the team will trust your judgment enough that you're running your workflow independently. Starting wage is $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience. .
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Benefits:
