The Administrative Clerk provides direct support to the Director of Administration and plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This position encompasses various clerical and administrative responsibilities, maintains organized office systems, and offers assistance to staff and management as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ø Administrative Clerk serves as an Assistant to the Director of Administration. This individual is responsible for the following:
  • Assist the Director of Administration by performing clerical administrative tasks, including developing and maintaining organized filing systems, updating databases, and managing records
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Manage office supply inventory, order supplies and maintain office equipment
  • Answer phone calls, manage email correspondences, and maintain digital and paper records
  • Perform data entry into databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy in typing formatting, and proofreading
  • Provide general administrative support to other team members and management
  • Scan documents into databases utilizing available software and hardware
COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) o Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and proofreading o Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills o Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while demonstrating good time management skills o Personal assistant or administrative experience that includes calendar management and document handling is advantageous
