KARL STORZ
as an Inventory Control Coordinator I and play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting supply chain excellence. In this hands-on position, you will ensure alignment between physical inventory and system data while helping drive efficient logistics operations. You'll perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, continuous improvement (LEAN) environment.
Shift:
Monday to Friday, 11:30AM-8:00PM
Work Environment:
On-site logistics/warehouse setting What You'll Do Perform cycle counts across inventory locations, including third-party vendors, to ensure accuracy Process inventory adjustments in SAP and maintain alignment between system and physical inventory Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions Review inventory reports and monitor variances to proactively identify issues Support audits and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality standards Collaborate with internal teams to improve inventory strategies and operational efficiency What You Bring High school diploma or GED required 1-2 years of experience in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environments Foundational knowledge of inventory control processes (cycle counting, receiving, adjustments) Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Effective communication skills with a customer-focused, collaborative approach Nice to
Have:
Experience with SAP, WMS, or other inventory/ERP systems Exposure to continuous improvement tools such as 5S or Kaizen Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices What Will Make You Successful Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes High level of accuracy and accountability when managing inventory data Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence Strong collaboration skills when working cross-functionally Why
