Spec, O.R. Inventory Mgmt

We are seeking an OR Inventory Management Specialist for our Boston location.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing all aspects of ParEx inventory management software program; including product reconciliation, new product entry and collaboration with Supply Chain to resolve open requisitions and product back orders. Entering new product requests in MedApproved to generate Peoplesoft numbers and appropriate patient charges when applicable. Daily stocking of procedure rooms and instrument transport to SPD for processing. Maintaining inventory of specialized surgical supplies and equipment for assigned service(s).

Minimum Qualifications:

Up to one year of basic technical training in a perioperative and or supply chain related field preferred. The knowledge of computers. Proficient in word and excel software programs. The analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine. The ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or hospital employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.

Education:

The level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school level of educational development
