Job Description

Senior Production Planner Franklin, MA Pay Rate range: $45.00•$55.00 an hour
Hours:
8am•5pm Monday•
Friday Start ASAP:
6 months, possible temp to perm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and maintenance of the master production schedule across all manufacturing cells, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Evaluate and confirm delivery dates for work orders using advanced analysis of material availability, capacity, lead times, and customer priorities. Coordinate timely release of work orders to meet delivery commitments and optimize factory throughput. Oversee subassembly and raw material stock levels, and initiate work orders proactively to maintain optimal inventory. Lead communication of material shortages with the supply chain team; ensure accurate and achievable delivery forecasts. Support complex cost quoting and configuration activities; manage entry and review of new assemblies in the ERP system. Collaborate with engineering and supply chain on part revisions and ensure up-to-date bill of materials (BOMs). Approve and release work orders based on customer BOMs and new product introductions. Manage and apply Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to active work orders, ensuring compliance and traceability. Interface with production and warehouse leads to ensure timely picking and movement of materials based on priorities. Provide project status updates to cell leaders, production managers, and project managers; revise production plans as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
