About Us Blessington Corporation is seeking a reliable, proactive Shop Operations & Logistics Specialist to keep our facility organized and running efficiently. if you take pride in a clean workspace and enjoy a hands-on, dynamic role, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving:
Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, verify packing slips, check for damage, and prepare goods for transit.
Inventory Control:
Track material stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and order shop supplies to prevent production delays.
Order Material:
Work with Shop Foreman and APM to order material for work in progress. Follow up on orders and track delivery dates.
Production & Operations Support:
Assist with day-to-day shop operations as needed, including hands-on assembly tasks such as edge banding, Panel saw operation and general fabrication support.
Shop Organization:
Maintain a structured, clean, and safe shop floor. Ensure tools and materials are properly stored
Facility Maintenance:
Assist with general shop upkeep and basic facility maintenance tasks. Qualifications Experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse work, or a hands-on shop or woodworking environment preferred. Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn assembly and fabrication tasks (e.g., cabinet construction, edge banding). Blue print reading a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to stand, bend and lift up to [e.g. 50lbs.] A safety-first mind set and the ability to work independently.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
