Job Description

Job Overview:
Working under the direction of the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Administrator will be responsible for processing customer orders and all related customer routing documents and instructions, from the Leominster Traffic Coordinators, in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, organized, and office environment. Continuously review, assimilate, and apply customer compliance instructions and timetables, to prevent non-compliance penalties and charges. After initial routings have been entered in
MA, & MS
you will receive sales orders and all related customer routing documents. All documents must be reviewed for correctness, and Leominster Traffic Coordinators are to be contacted immediately, with any perceived customer issues/compliances. Create all customer documents based upon their requirements, i.e. Pick Tickets, Shipping Labels, Master BOL s, Custom Documents, Quick Base entries, etc. Create daily shipping schedules and coordinate with Shipping/Warehouse Managers on the daily shipping schedule. Also, to work closely with customer specific trucking companies by assigning pickup appointments that comply with customer standards. Communicate and interact with Shipping/Warehouse Managers, Customer Service and Distribution Managers, to ensure smooth flow of shipments, which satisfies all Customer Compliance demands, avoiding the potential for penalties or fines Immediately report any issues with product or equipment, any unsafe conditions or actions of other employees, to the Traffic Manger Other Duties as assigned by the Traffic Manager.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of related experience in retail, wholesale warehousing or logistics Minimum of one year experience working in a warehouse management system, IQMS preferred. Excellent computer skills (MS office applications). Strong team player who remains positive and flexible amidst changing priorities Physically able to lift between 1-35 lbs., sit climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Able to travel and have means of transportation. Superior organizational and communication skills Ability to read and speak English fluently; Spanish/English bilingual a plus Forklift experience a plus General understanding of supply chain, production, distribution concepts.
