Immediately Job Description Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Agent supports TECCA's 1:1 Chromebook initiative by managing the intake, preparation, shipment, tracking, and return of student and staff technology devices. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely device fulfillment, and efficient coordination of repairs and replacements to minimize disruption to teaching and learning. The Shipping & Receiving Agent plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency within TECCA's remote learning environment through strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with the Help Desk and technology teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming technology equipment and shipments.
  • Prepare devices for deployment, including tagging, staging, packaging, and inventory updates.
  • Ship devices and technology equipment to students and staff according to established timelines.
  • Generate and process shipping labels, return labels, and tracking information.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using asset management systems and barcode tracking.
  • Track device status as required..
  • Coordinate with Help Desk staff regarding repairs, replacements, and device returns.
  • Process returned devices by inspecting condition, documenting issues, and preparing devices for redeployment.
  • Clean, sanitize, reset, and refresh devices according to district standards.
  • Assist with warranty claims and repair coordination.
  • Monitor outstanding device returns and support communication efforts with families.
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and maintain organized storage systems.
  • Support summer device preparation, distribution, and collection efforts.
  • Cross-train with team members to maintain operational continuity during absences.
  • Maintain compliance with district technology, inventory, and data security procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, logistics, or technology support.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of technology devices and computer systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an educational or technology environment.
  • Experience with asset management systems, barcode scanners, or inventory tracking software.
  • Combination of warehouse, office, and technology staging environments. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to meet operational deadlines. Work Environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes and technology equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday.
  • Ability to operate standard office and shipping equipment.
Terms of Employment Full-time in person position at 300 Foxborough Blvd, Foxborough, MA 02035 Salary established by TECCA. Subject to successful background and fingerprint checks in accordance with state requirements.
