  • 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available) Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_175589 Job details As a Supply Chain & Purchasing Associate you will be the primary link between our production floor and our supply base.
You won't just be moving parts; you'll be managing the strategic flow of materials by building strong supplier partnerships, mitigating risks before they hit the line, and leveraging data to optimize our inventory. Responsibilities:
  • Issue accurate purchase orders and validate all contract terms and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels to trigger timely orders and maintain purchasing records, pricing, and lead times.
  • Build professional partnerships, communicate forecasts, and manage updates regarding MOQs and pricing.
  • Proactively mitigate shortage risks and manage discrepancies, including shipment delays, damages, and returns for non-conforming materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on broader supply chain and inventory initiatives.
Working hours:
8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
  • 1???3 years in manufacturing purchasing or supply chain within dynamic, growing organizations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel/Word) and comfortable interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Ability to work fully on site in Frederick, MD.
