Job Description

Tharros is seeking a Lead Logistician to support a Department of Defense customer across the system acquisition lifecycle, providing logistics planning and support in accordance with applicable DoD acquisition policies and requirements. This role will contribute to acquisition strategy development, technical proposal evaluations, Milestone Decision Reviews, and monitoring of logistics thresholds, objectives, and exit criteria. The ideal candidate brings experience in Integrated Logistics Support, defense acquisition, lifecycle logistics, and acquisition planning, with the ability to support programs through multiple acquisition phases. This individual will monitor the development and delivery of critical logistics products and deliverables, helping ensure supportability requirements are satisfied and systems are prepared for successful deployment and sustainment. Key Responsibilities Serves as Lead Logistician providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services IAW DoD regulation and policy, such as DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.75, DoDI 5000.87, and DoDI 5000.91Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of Defense Business Systems (DBS) supportability and/or maintainability programsEvaluates the ILS elements for products that require government approval such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Capability Support Plan (CSP), Core Logistics Assessment (CLA), Business Case Analysis (BCA), and Integrated Logistics Assessment (ILA)Prepares and provides input into the formulation of short and long-range logistics and product support planningSupports logistics audits and audit readiness testing by maintaining, collecting, reviewing, updating, and providing logistics and sustainment documentation
